Description

Join us for accessible cycling on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail in Cheshire through our Universal Access Program (UAP). We have an array of cycles that can accommodate riders of all abilities from stable, comfortable recumbent trikes to handcycles to tandem recumbent trikes to wheelchair tandems. This program is open to people with disabilities and their families and friends. Seniors are invited to register as well.Instruction, equipment, and assistance as needed are provided. 

Pre-registration is required by 5PM two days before the program. Call us at 413-584-2052 after that time if you would like to register. You will receive an email confirmation for participation. 

Participants may sign up for a one-hour timeslot during the program time between 11AM - 3PM.

About our Universal Access Program (UAP) events
  • We will have rides starting on the hour from 10AM to 2PM, with the event ending at 3PM. All rides are by reservation and last 45 to 50 minutes.
  • Sign up for a one-hour timeslot during event.
  • Rides start at 50 Farnams Rd, Cheshire, MA on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail. 
  • Participants will be required to complete a liability waiver at or before the event. 
  • A portable accessible restroom will be provided on site.
  • If there are any weather related changes, we will email you by 8 AM on the morning of the program, update the calendar on our website, and update our outgoing voicemail (413-584-2052).
