As a founder and current Board President of All Out Adventures, Philippe has participated in 13 Kayak-a-thons, kayaking each year from either Sunderland or Northampton to raise funds for All Out Adventures.  This year, Philippe and his friend Bob will take to the waters closer to home, pushing themselves on a kayak adventure in the spirit of the Kayak-a-thon.

Typically each year, All Out Adventures holds the Kayak-a-thon, a signature fundraising event that raised close to $50,000 in support of free or low cost outdoor recreation programs for people with disabilities, seniors, and veterans in 2019.  Though the COVID-19 pandemic means we can't gather in person to paddle down the Connecticut River this year, we will be together in spirit and community in the AOA Virtual Challenge.  Every participant will name a challenge meaningful to them, and we will work together to fundraise and to build awareness and support for adaptive recreation programs.
